The EU One Stop Shop successfully organized the information session titled “Preparing Technical Files for Aluminum Products Entering the EU Market via the Green Line” on 17 June 2026 at the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Commerce.
The session brought together Turkish Cypriot producers, traders, and consultants, aiming to strengthen their understanding of EU requirements for aluminum products and the documentation needed for Green Line Trade. Opening remarks were delivered by representatives of the EU, the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the EU OSS.
A specialized expert provided detailed guidance on the structure of a compliant technical file, the required product and process information, relevant EU regulations, European harmonized standards, documentation requirements, verification procedures, and the most common mistakes to avoid. Participants actively engaged in the discussion, raising practical questions related to compliance and documentation.
The EU OSS will continue to support Turkish Cypriot economic operators in strengthening their readiness for Green Line Trade and expanding opportunities in sectors with high growth potential.
